SENTO STORIES

Inspired by the beauty in the daily moments Masha fell in love with the Japanese bathing house culture during her stay in Kyoto. She visited Sentos a few times every month and started to make artworks connected to it. When she met Sakura-chan from the Kamogawa-Yu she got interested in how a person her age started to work in a Sento and wanted to get to know her and her story. The exhibition displays Sakura-chans story among other stories about Sentos.
